I've been a loyal client of Outsurance since 1998 and was (until recently) quite oblivious to how (NOT) they "bend backwards" to satisfy their clients' needs. I subsequently cancelled my insurance on 3Sept2013 and was informed that I can only get my premium back (debit order deducted via magtape) 30 DAYS after cancellation. Alternatively I have to stand in a queue at my bank and get proof of the debit order deduction, stamped by a teller and send it to the same people who deducted my money!! The clerk at the bank laughed when I told her this and said I can print proof from their website that they deducted the money. UNFORTUNATELY this does not work for "Out"surance. My premium is held ransom by them and they insist I must go back to the bank and send proof of the deduction. RIDICULOUS!
