I have opened a FNB business bank account and can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am. The opening of the account was handled brilliantly and done within 10 minutes on the telephone. Our cards arrived - 10 days later (brilliant) until we realised that the name on my wife's card was incorrect. After phoning the bank and explaining this to them they said we shouldn't worry as her name on the account was correct. They said they would get back to us to rectify it and 9 weeks later we are still waiting. Then trying to register for online banking is another matter altogether. We have spent over 5 hours on the telephone and have been into the bank atleast 9 times where we have spent approximately 4 hours trying to sort this out. They keep sending us sms's to say that it has been rectified but still no luck in registering. We have also sent countless emails to different personnel and now they don't even bother getting back to us. As a business banker this is completely unacceptable. I wish I had gone to a different bank instead. We are in the process of closing our individual accounts with FNB.
