Good day
Having worked in the insurance industry for a while, I have come to this one very honest and logical conclusion ... "Insurance is about taking your money and not wanting to pay if a claim arises..."
I have to admit, after searching for a number of different quotes I was quite pleased with the service, quotation and price I received from Miway.
What is annoying is that I took out this insurance 2 months ago and was given a "NO EXCESS" based premium, now, I receive a letter informing me that as from the end of September there is a FORCED excess adjustment from R0.00 to R3 300.00.
This is unacceptable and sheer day light, if there is a "FORCED INVOLUNTARY" excess logged then why doesn't it stipulate that my premium will come down... according to my logic (stupid or not) an excess is there to bring your premium down, so, where did I miss this.
I am extremely irate and feel that I (and 1000s) have been taken for a ride, this is unethical and blatant highway.
It is tragic that people can be crooked in this fashion.
I need this sorted out as soon as possible.
Thanx
