Technical arrears not sorted out - bad service

My very first debit order went off on 31 August 2013.
I called on 2 September 2013 and asked that my debit order date be changed from 31st to 1st from October onwards.
Someone called me on the 3 September 2013 informing that I am in arrears. This person then said to me that it was a technical arrear and it would be fixed within 48 hours.
I called on 7 September and spoke to Keitumetse who told me that the arrear still displays and all that person did was make a payment arrangement and I should call back today 10 September as this arrear thing should be sorted.
I called today and I spoke to a very slow, very unhelpful Selaelo who told me that my account still shows as arrears.

1. HOW CAN I BE IN ARREARS TWO DAYS AFTER 1ST PAYMENT WENT OFF??
2. WHY IS THERE A PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT IN PLACE WHEN I AM NOT IN ARREARS TO START OFF WITH??

Your call centre staff people like Selaelo are just wasting our times and putting me on hold for absolutely no reason.
I would like this sorted TODAY!!!

This lack of service is why I closed my cheque account.
