On 26 September I send an email to Angela requesting an arrangement for a double debit order at the end of October as I knew I wouldn't have enough funds to pay my installment. She then told me to send her my account details so that she can load it as I've been paying MFC directly, which I did. She then told me that I have an arrear amount of R1679 which was the first time I heard about it. On the 30th Sept my account was debited and needless to say it bounced, I then called Angela to tell her that I had requested a double debit order for the end of October & not September and she insisted that I have to pay as I now owe them 2 months installment which is surprising because my installment is R3400 and the arrears are R1679, so how is that 2 months. I told her I might make a payment for the R1679 but would still want to make an arrangement for the Sept and Oct installment. To my surprise today I get a call from a debt collector telling me that I owe MFC R9700 & if I don't pay they will repossess my car, later on in the day I get a letter of demand dated 04 October, a few days after I had made a payment arrangement. I'm so disappointed but will pay so that I don't lose my car.
