Following on from my first complaint - where ABSA's system is incapable of changing my old surname to my new married name - I got replacement credit cards in my married name but the "notify me" sms is still coming through in my previous surname. Why can't the system update your details ONE TIME all at ONCE across the board. This seems to be an impossible ask. Surely I am not the only women who has gotten married and changed her surname? An email directly to Avinash Singh asking this question, was just blithely ignored. If the situation stays as is, when my current cards expire do I need to go through this whole rigmarole again for the right surname to be on your WHOLE system???
