I applied for a FNB cheque account online-was impressed with how quick it was-from there it all went downhill. my platinum account was approved-twice i have sent mails requesting that someone contact me-i have been banking with ABSA for 25 years and decided to switch to FNB as they were supposed to be so good-not my experience at all-i was supposed to be contaced and have my card delivered-2 weeks passed and nothing-i had to go into the Pretoria North branch and a lady helped me by setting up everthing and ordered my card. FNB promises all these fantastic special offers and if you have a platinum like I do you get free offers-I got zip-not at all impressed-did not pay my salary over as i dont think it is worth it any more. have had a credit card for years and a good track record on it. thought FNB would be more professional but nope-not impressed at all with the lack of interest and bad service
