On the 4th September 2013, did an enquiry at Absa Centurion- main branch. Lydia Padi assisted me.
she picked up that I was paying too much on bank charges with the savings account I currently hold.

she suggested I switch to a cheque account and explained to me the difference and compared my current charges with what I would pay if I switched. I was reluctant to do this because of the onerous task of changing debit orders from existing account to the new account. Lydia, informed me, bank can do that on my behalf, I just need to complete and sign a form requesting them to do this. The bank will even contact my employer to arrange salary switch from old account to the new one. This is great! she then told me about Absa rewards and signed me on to this programme. Wow! this lady really got me thinking, why do I not switch from the savings account to the cheque? even got me to consider transferring my account to her branch. Lydia, keep the excellent service up.
