Claim after my Husband passed away

My husband died 2 months ago. He have a policy with Old Mutual ((Flexi pension) what is suppose to been paid out by death. I (his wife) am the beneficiary in this policy (no 11418607). I phoned them just after my husband passed away - they email me the documentation to complete. After quite a while I phoned them to follow up on the claim just to be informed that there is outstanding documentation. They send me different documentation as at first. I follow up after that just to be informed it is with the trustees and they will contact me. I send e-mails to follow up asking they must contact me so that I can know what is happening regarding the claim. After two months - no reply, nothing! No service at all. I am still waiting - wondering if the claim is going to be paid out as how my husband wanted it to be? What is the purpose of having policies? Why do I have to wait so long? I am really disappointed in Old Mutual.
