Outsurance
My car went in for a engine repair on 1 July 2013

My Mercedes ML was on 14 April and found the same day with damage to the turbocharger and other parts. It went to Eldan Panelbeaters on Outsurance's instruction who send the car to MB Fountains. When I got it back all the repairs were not complete due to a spares shortage. They gave it back to use untill the spares were available. During this period I picked up a noise in the front of the car and the air suspension was sagging. I notified Outsurance and the car was returned to Eldan who send the car to MB Fountains again on 1 July 2013. Outsurance gave me a car for a month as per my policy and extended it twice.
All sorts of tests were carried out on the engine and finally they decided to strip the engine and this was done by Ralph's Auto Technika. There report stated that the engine was about to seize. Outsurance got another company JPA Mechanical Appraisals. This report stated that there is no damage to the engine and it is normal wear and tear.
The car from outsurance is not available any more and I haven't got a date when I am going to get my car back. I am also in posesion of MB report when I bought the car in Nov 2012 which states that the car is in a good condition.
