The reason for me coming to ABSA is due to the point that just maybe you'd realize we're working in 2013 e.g. the internet age. Unfortunately there are consistently changing & bizarre rules applicable for SIMPLE overdrafts etc.
In regards to my cheque account - WIHTDRAW all application intended for loans such as:
(a) Personal Loans
(b) Overdrafts
There is the National Credit Act but it's being enacted as a NO Credit Act. These are NOT legal obligations, rather policies enacted by ABSA that hinder a consumer's rightful credit.
The reason for this complaint, is that NOTHING gets done via the internal messaging system and the call centre is a joke!
