I have an existing Std bank overdraft account which i pay via Internet banking from my FNB account and never used my account withdrawing since last year but now today when i went to Std bank Cresta to request a pin and check my balance i was told by the consultant to contact their lawyers because my acc was handed over to them as my account was overdrawn and is not overdrawn because i have a R1246.38 still available to me and that they tried to contact me and couldnt get hold of me since last year. Please can they explain how is it that they can send me sms's and phone me almost everyday for Insurance policies yet they claim that they tried to contact me regarding my cheque account. This is just a big and will definately take this matter further because i dont know where they got these cell no's because i opened my acc last year March and have been using this same cell number for almost 5years now.
