Firstly, I have had money /used from my account twice in one month. I receive the funds back from the 1st incident and then a second incident occurs. I then call in to cancel my card and get told that a consultant will contact me. I have still not received a call. I then call 3 different numbers all of which is for the departtment given to my by Customer services. I sat holding on the line for more than 30min. I then call customer services again to check the numbers to find out they are correct and ask to be put through. I hold for another 10min, someone then answers and asks the nature of the query then says "please hold" and I hold for 20min this time. Then I call customer services one last time and they tell me its best to go into a bank and get them to call coz I will use lots of airtime. The airtime doesnt phase me... Holding on for more than 50min phases and irritates me to say the least. And when asked at customer services if someone can call me back I get told unfortunately not. IRRITATED with STANDARD BANK!!!
