I paid money into a closed Garage card i had with standard bank on 07/05/2013. immediately realising the error, i contacted customer services where i was told the money would bounce back from the closed account back to my current account within 24 hours.
the next day nothing had happened and i once again called the customer services. this time i was told that it would take 3 working days. this once again did not happen even after i verified the validity of the information with another person from the call centre. i then went into the branch on 11/05/2013 where i was told yet a different story. they had to load a GAJIMA query which could take up to 21 working days. i received a reference number, but yet when following this up with card division, they could not find any previous correspondence or ref numbers, so the process was re started yet again. i was told thaty the funds would be back in my account by Friday 17/05/13, but as expected, this did not happen! i then started dealing with a Thembani JKohnson who is just downright rude and also cannot resolve this issue.
to say the very least, i am fed up with this bank and their bull
i would like thjs issue resolved!!!
