Completely incompetent service

I have been in the process of applying for a building loan through Nedbank.

I originally asked them if they can do a credit check to give me an idea of what amount they would approve, as a building loan requires plans which involves paying for architects planners engineers etc which is costly which they refused to do.

So I decided to pay all the costs and submit the application only to be turned down for not qualifying for the amount of credit required. Which is what I wanted to know in the beginning. So I have now wasted time and money.

Further to that they have been incompetent in the application process I got a list of required docs from a branch and when I phoned the call centre the agent didn't even know what some of the required docs were, and then gave me a different list (this happened on a few occasions). After submitting my docs I've had endless calls for docs that weren't on the list, or they lost, or I had but they did not take when I was submitting.

I have logged 2 complaints on their website but have had no response.

I have never been so discussed by a companies service and they have unfortunately lost a customer, and I don't recommend anyone banks with them.
