I am an client of OMF in Cape Town, i tried for a top up and was told by the Head office in Pinelands that theres an pending application in JHB. As confused as i can be as i am in Cape Town, the agent gave me the details of the person who did the application. Mahlomola, i then clled him and he said its a referral q and he was suppsoe to contact me first but he promised me that he never did the application as yet and he couldnt do it without my consent & i asked him to cancel the application & he said he did! Just to find out from the that he never cancelled the application but went ahead and did a credit application without my concent and had my credit score drop? What am i to do now?? I am taking this further to the ombudsman and laying a formal complaint as he had no right to do this without my concent. I have had it with this unprofessional services & i refuse to leave it at that.. Even after i asked him to cancel it, he went ahead and did the application on the 15th July and 31st July... Very angry and dissapointed customer of OMF..
