On 27 July I was sent a payment notification supposedly from the Bank of America for goods I was selling. I was suspicious that it was not genuine. On Monday 29 July I contacted my relationship manager to ask how I could track it. She told me to contact the international funds department which I did. They in turn asked me to email the POP to [Email Removed] They told me there is no way to contact them by telephone. I emailed them immediately. After 48 hours I had no response, and emailed them again. The following day I contacted the international funds department again. They told me I had no choice but to wait for a reply from IB Client Support, and that there is no way to contact them other than by email. I have subsequently emailed twice more and called twice more. It is now two full weeks later and I have discovered this POP was indeed. I have had no contact whatsoever from ABSA. I have been utterly disregarded and compromised by ABSA.
