Good Day,
My dad bought me a vehicle financed through ABSA VAF in 2008 and i got highjacked within a month.
I settled the account in 2010. and was not notified by ABSA to collect the registration documents or what the process is thereafter.
5 Years later, i get a call saying the Vehicle has been receovered and i need to collect it.
This has been the worst week in my life, because dearest ABSA cannot give me what i need or refer me to the correct department that i need to deal with.
I called on Monday the 29th July, and requested for the papers, i was told. OK it will take 3 - 5 working days. I did a follow up on Wensday the 31st July, they told me (It is in the process). I called on Thursday, i was told it has been approved and i will receive an sms when it arrives. I called today and i was told that the OOPS sorry the car is in the process of being deregistered?! now why on earth lead me along to think that the papers are on its way... and then send me on a wild goose chase to stop the deregistration??? when i cannot get through to any of the numbers provided. NO One can assist me??? Is this Can someone please just get the deregistration stopped?!?!?!?!?! Service Delivery!
