So out of the blue, I receive an sms telling me that in order to comply with a credit act, I must produce my proof of residence and I.D document, which i honestly don't mind doing as I know it's for security purposes. However, I do have a problem with the fact that I only had 5 days to do this or my account will be frozen. I got the message on Thursday evening, but I'm a student and have lectures on Friday and during the week until late, not to mention that the 5 days included the weekend so since the Bank was closed on Sunday I only had 4 days and still had to ask my landlord to get me the proof of res which she could only give me on Saturday afternoon when she was done working. So I go to the bank today (twice) with my documents and after the most ungracious service from a sales consultant, my account is still being frozen tomorrow. Thanks FNB
