I am banking with standard bank and I am a prestige customer. Sars is requesting proof of payment from me for electricity since last year feb until this year feb, as I am paying them electronicly, I must be able to get the history from last year. This however is not the case, when I went to the bank, they said to me that I will need my bankstatements from last year and that it will cost me R20 per page!!! Now from last year till this year could easily be 500 pages! 500xR20.00=R10000.00 Why would I want to pay R10000.00 rand for when I only want one beneficeries deatails? This to me is the bank my hard earned money, why am I paying bank charges when I do not have the option to get my history for free??? R20 per page when I am such a good client through the bank is daylight. If they can not assist me, I will have no choice as to move my bond, and my personal account, plus my personal loan to a bank that will be able to give me the service I am paying a month for. This is unexceptable!!! And I will make every one aware of there "SKELM" ways!
