Poor service by standardbank short term insurance

I recently had a my car broken into. according to the insurance there is a chance they will not cover my claim due to the fact that i did not take the car for an inspection within 7 days of taking out the policy. according to the recordings i was advised that i was told that i need to do an inspection. i asked a call center agent whats the purpose of if and he said that its to make sure that i actually have a vehicle. after the claim was made an assessor veiwed my vehicle so thats proof enough that i have a vehicle and i had it for 6 years. i am not saying that i am not at fault but being a staff member and to be treated in this way is pathetic, the service i get from the insurance call center and the person in charge of my claim is beyond disgraceful. i dont mind paying extra on my access but to not process my claim at all is just unfair, i have never missed a payment. what do i need to do now, do i need to cancel all my stuff with STD bank and move all my accounts to another bank. the insurance quote was R29000 and now i must come up with that money on my own to fix my vehicle. can someone please look into this and help me with my claim. people say they will call me back and dont
