Standardbank dragging their feet to settle account

My vehicle was in an accident and Mutual and Federal settled the claim by paying the HP amount but did not pay the shortfall. Shortfall (Top-up) cover is with standard bank insurance since the vehicle was financed by Standard bank. I have sent emails to Standard bank VAF and Insurance sections but my account has not been settled. Mutual and Federal made the payment to Standard bank on the 15th of March but the instalment for the vehicle went through on the 24th of March. I want to purchase another vehicle but I cannot since there is debt of the vehicle still reflecting under my name. This is very frustrating and it looks like Standard bank loves it when its clients are treated like dirt. I have decided to close my Prestige account, move my home loan from Standard bank and all future vehicle finance will be with any bank but Standard bank, furthermore my life cover is with Liberty but it was arranged through a Standard bank broker so this also I must switch to another life cover provider to ensure that I cut all ties with Standard bank. My wife and daughter's accounts are with Standard bank, these too will be moved from Standard Bank.
