Accepting Credit Card Quote when I clearly said NO

Andrew Gary-Carl phoned me to offer me a credit card. He asked whether I accept the quote. I said "No, I don't. Please send me the quote Black on White and I will read through it and sign it if I want it." Next moment I received a sms saying my Credit card account is opened and the Courier Company phoned me to deliver the card. Since when do you think it is okay to accept a quote on someone else's behalf? I hope this doesn't cost me a cent! I phoned this morning to cancel the card and the lady said that it won't cost me at all. I really hope FNB will keep their word.
