I applied online for an ABSA Credit Card. I decided thereafter that I did not want the card, and therefore did not collect it, did not sign for it I have since found out that they have been debiting my Account to pay the "service fee" on the card that I did not sign for, and have never had possession of for the past 18 months. I am now expected to pay the 'amount owing' on the card. I have never used the card or even seen it! Is it legal for Absa to make me liable for payment on the acceptance of a quote? I did not sign anything- therefore, how do they even know it was me who applied?
I am outraged and feel cheated by "My Bank". I am moving all my accounts once this is resolved
