I tried to purchase travel insurance via the ABSA website. Flights were purchased on my ABSA card.

When entering MY ABSA CARD details, ironically on an ABSA site, to purchase the selected cover type the site displayed an error message when trying to process the transaction and subsequently requested all relevant details to be entered again. This happened on a number of occasions and I subsequently had to use another credit card from another banking institution. Once again the transaction failed on a number of occasions. So I gave up.
A few minutes after leaving the site I received an SMS notification, from the 2nd banking institution I used to try and purchase with, stating that an amount was debited to the said card. Then 5 more SMS notifications were received stating that all transactions had been approved. 6 deductions
Checking my ABSA accounts now I see that 12 transactions went through my ABSA card. Not one SMS notification was received for any of the transactions which is a huge concern!
Please can 15 of the 16 trasactions be reversed. 1 legitimate transaction on the ABSA card is all that is required along with the relevant documentation confirming cover.
