I received a call on Thursday and they made me an offer - unsolicited. I had to go into the branch anyway (see previous about credit card limits and bank statements) so i went in on Friday. After about an hour very helpful lady told me they can't find the offer and she would call me. True to her word she called me on Saturday and they made the same offer they had made on Thursday. went back to Northgate and signed everything. Was told Monday or Tuesday. They then phone me to verify information as my fingerprints don't match home affairs. From this forum I see that this is quite a common complaint. Since then I have heard nothing. I was issued with a credit card in which the leaflet states incorrectly that it becomes available as soon as it is verified - not the case at all. I jus feel that if they call me and make me an offer then they should be prepared to follow through or at least communicate. Initially it was the bank statements, now it is something else.
