Not keeping promises

On 8 July my tax consultant asked me to obtain a tax certificate for my bank for my bond for the full tax year. I asked my "personal banker", in writing, for this information the same day. After chasing, leaving messages, and generally being a pain, I finally got an answer on 11 July that I will receive the statement "in 3 - 5 working days". My calendar says it is now the 23rd. I'm still waiting. I'm now giving up. A simple request like this is too difficult and unfair for a "private banker" to resolve. Well, at least at Absa...
