On the 1st July A&G debited 800 rand from my account - Up to this point I had NO contact with auto & general yet they decided to just debit my account.
I called A&G to find out what the issue was to be told that the policy holders details do not match up to my own personal details.
I was told to send through confidential information, such as my bank account and ID to prove that I had been debited for someone elses policy (Considering YOU made the administrative mistake I have to spend my scarce time sorting our your problem)
I have now emailed A&G three times with demand for MY money and each time am told, the accounts department will get back to me.
A&G You totally and utterly disgust me... If I was a struggling student that 850 rand could possibly have broken me for the month - but you just don't care - 22 days after taking MY money and you still refuse to give it back.
I DEMAND that my OWN money be returned to me this week - or A&G will have a charge of and laid against them.
as promised I have already officially laid a complaint at the ombudsman for short term insurance, the above will be my next move - and still failing, I will proceed with Legal Action
