I have car insurance with Auto & General for the last 3 years. This year I noticed a added debit order for R386 on my account. When i investigate it looks like it is already for the Last 2 years on my account. That is over R20 000 that they had deducted with out permission. When i queried it last month the guy (Jet) said it was for LIFE insurance and he will immediately investigate and give me a refund. I want to state I never got a phone call, or letter informing me of any additions to my Car insurance (which by the way goes up every year by close to R100) or asking me if i want a addition or life insurance or any new product. Needless to say they did not contact me about their. I had phone again and was informed they investigate. This is now a month later and i have had no contact from Auto & General and they still have all my money that they. I still don't even know what product it was that they were taking the money for. BE AWARE GIVING YOUR BANK DETAILS FOR THEM WILL COST YOU!!! I am so disappointed this is not the first time Auto & General have let me down BEWARE!
Every time I have a problem they just stop communicating and try to let me forget about it!!!
