My BMW 740 was damaged by a loose item on the back of a truck belonging to Benhaul in March of this year 2013. I subsequently placed a claim with them and have been battling to get some movement out of their insurers, Regent Insurance since then. The story goes that the claim has not been validated by their client. I find this very strange as the incident investigator from Benhaul was at my home the very next day to take pictures and get my statement, I submitted a sketch of the incident to this person and nothing happened for a long time. I contacted the company to find out what was happening with regard to my claim and was subsequently told that their brokers have taken over, I had at the stage not been contacted by anyone. Subsequently there have been numerous contacts with Regent over the months where documentation has been supplied again, but nothing forthcoming.
