Absa froze my account because they wanted proof of residential address. I submitted it and my account was fine after that. After a month it was frozen again and I went to the same branch (South dale) and found the same lady who helped me. She said I need to submit proof of res address and I told her that I submitted it to her. She helped me and my account was ok again. After another month it was frozen again, I was stuck in Nelspruit with no money to go back to Joburg, until the branch manager from Nelspruit helped me. All I want to know from Absa is what is the process of submitting proof of Res address and how many times must I submit it. This is annoying and it shows bad customer service. I've been banking with Absa since 1998 and I never had such a bad experience. Sheila Silinda
