Claim nightmare

I submitted a claim around the middle of November 2012 and was pleasantly surprised at the intiial response from Outsurance - received a claim number and the assessor was there very quickly. I was then told to expect a call from one of their preferred builders. Two weeks later, having heard nothing, I phoned Outsurance to ask what was going on. A consultant phoned back to say none of their builders were interested as it was too far to travel (the builder in question did not bother to let myself or Outsurance know!! - would have fired them immediately!) That's where it all ended. Since then, I have on frequent occasions, phoned and emailed Outsurance for some sort of closure on this matter with absolutely no finality! I called Outsurance today AGAIN, to be told that a consultant would be in touch with me within 5 minutes (that was about an hour and a half ago. What, do they 'bend over backwards' to the point of passing out! What a joke. I am, needless to say, very pd off, particularly as I had previously been raving about my Insurance provider and recommended them! A thing of the past!
