Please tell me what's happened to my car

On Tuesday my car was broken into. The ignition was damaged and my car was subsequently towed away to a Santam Assessment center in Tokai.

I was promised that someone would get hold of me to tell me the extent of the damage and when my car would be fixed (and hopefully when I will get it back).

Surprise - no one called.

I've called every number I can get my hands on and have spoken to about 5 different people, none of whom know where my car is, how much the excess will be, or when I will get it back (if ever). I've been shunted around from person to person (and a few lines which are never answered).

I've called the Santam line twice. The first time the operator told me they would make calls and get back to me. I haven't heard anything from Santam since. The second time I called I was routed to the Register a Claim line, which is not what I asked for.

This isn't the first time an insurance company has dragged it's knuckles and drooled at me when I try claim for the service I pay for routinely every month.

If this is responded to could the next person who calls me please tell me where my car is, how much it will cost me in excess, and when I can get my car...
