On the 2nd of September I lodged a claim as a result of a power spike that damaged a lot of my electrical appliances and Santam sent an assesor to come and the damage sustained. First the claim was rejected but after a review of my policy it was granted and I was informed that Me. Philander was my contact person with this claim. I contacted this person that then told me I had no claim as it was not in my policy. Then I contacted sti sanlam again and stated that what she had told me and was assured that they have sent her an e mail rectifying the situation but to this day I have had no joy with this person and I hold Santam responsible as the insurer.
