1month since I claimed and my car still not fixed

I bumped my car early last month and called Santam to report the claim. I then was to to take my car to their offices in midrand for an assessment, I took the car the and the guy assessed it, took pictures and told me I will get a call after a day or 2. I did t get a call I then called and I was told that there were documents ya missing and the assessor will be appointed. I asked which assessor because I was I set the impression that the guy who took pictures was the assessor- I did t get a straight answer. I then called again and this time wanted to find out what the process really is, I was told about the assessor again, I asked what is the assessor supposed to do and was told he is supposed to approve the claim. Still no one could explain to me what is usually the process when one is claiming because this is my first.
Till today, I still haven't heard anything from Santam, no call or email. I do t know what to do with my car now. I pay Santam over R2000 a month for my car and this is the service I get. It really is ridiculous and I am currently looking for new insurance. I would rather pay thousands for a good service than be treated this way. I am truly disappointed by Santam.
