I applied for a home loan online late on 16 July (as the ads on KFM states that you get an answer within hours). On the morning of the 17th, they required a different copy of the OTP, which I sent immediately. I should've received a response yesterday. Today, ONLY AT 13:30 do they send me a document for outstanding forms - but the document doesn't say what forms they need!!! So I had to phone them (wasting my time and money), just to find out they now require an IT34 for both my husband and I even though we have provided payslips and bankstatements which CLEARLY declares our income and deductions. I REFUSE to go through more hassle and a longer wait to get hold of these forms from SARS, it will take at least a week and our OTP is expiring. NOT ONE of the other banks have requested this as our bankstatements and payslips are very clear and correct. They are making it IMPOSSIBLE for me to apply through them. They also should've requested ALL the documents they require yesterday and not request them in drips and drabs slowing the process down horribly. I'm disgusted and annoyed and cancelling my application - I will never even attempt to do business with Nedbank again.
