Home Loan mess-up

At the beginning of December 2012, I applied for a home loan, giving my husband's details for surety. FNB decided to ignore my surety application on the grounds that I earn enough money myself. Never mind that my husband earns more, making us lower risk for a potential lower interest rate. This was also NOT discussed with us either. After a ridiculous rate was offered, it transpired that the surety was ignored. So a repeat / new application was required. After 2 WEEKS, I was asked for additional documents of my husband (foreigner - work permit). I was assured that all due document were now received and I should have an answer soon.
Haha. ANOTHER WEEK later, more documents were requested. Additionally, I have to continuously beg for an update on the situation, no progress is made without me nagging.

WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG? WHY CAN ALL THE DOCUMENTS NOT BE ASSESSED AT ONE TIME AND REQUEST EVERYTHING OUTSTANDING SIMULTANEOUSLY? WHY THE POOR COMMUNICATION??

Btw: This was the service for "Premier Clients" - I am scared of the service for other applicants. Disgusted!!!

I WANT THIS SORTED OUT LAST WEEK!!!
