I made an appointment with the financial advisor of FNB in Zeerust to apply for a loan. He explain to us that the bank will require our bankstatements from Standard Bank. I went and got the statements and he said he will send us an email regarding other documents to apply for the loan. He never said while I was with him that I need to open a business bank account at FNB immediately and there should be an income before they would consider my application. When I received the email from him the same night, I phoned him the next morning and he informed about the abovementioned. I am staying 30km from Zeerust and now I need to drive back to Zeerust just to open an account. I was retrenched in October 2012, I bought a farm cash there is no income at this time because I need money to expand (building a butchery, etc).
