ABSA Bank - destroys your credit profile

I had Personal Loan. I pd it always on time. I settled previous loans early. Got into financial difficulty due to personal death of loved one, struggled to make payments. I agressively paid off my account. I always responded communicated w ABSA. My acc was pd in full in JUL 2012, a YEAR ago. But when requesting my cr profile from ITC, ABSA states I still owe a balance I'm 150 days in arrears=FALSE. I opened dispute w Transunion. Sent ABSA plenty emails w my dispute number. Marcia Mohale replied, promising it would be updated-3 days. Called transunion, yes it was updated as paid up in JUL 2012 but the system keeps updating it again in the new month JUL 13 etc, w a balance 150 days in arrears, giving me a bad score / high risk profile. Sent plenty more emails. Got no response. Called Transunion ABSA. ABSA informs me they have a system error they are working on it but that even if they udpate transunion, there system will repeat this every month. I asked for something in writing. I was told they will come back to me. ABSA system error is not my problem that my credit profile must be destroyed/credit declined. They must find a way to sort it out, not to my detriment.
