Very simple,
I paid up (settled) my personal loan account with Absa in Nov 2012. In July 2013 it still did not reflect on ITC. I approached Absa and I received an Email from Melleney that Absa apologizes and will close the account.
Last week, when I got a credit report from transunion, I saw Absa did not the account as closed and paid up, but, - listen to this - suddenly, they listed the account (closed and paid up) as 150 days in arrears from July??? What???
I lodged a complaint online (EC: 287AB1A2) last week - and no response.
I've contacted Melleney - no response
As a result I cannot get vehicle finance.
Bummer.
