I have been paying month after month - diligently and as per agreed - an account outstanding with ABSA which has been handed over to Anthony Richards and Associates for collection. This account has finally been settled November 2013 - and ARA has sent me a letter reflecting this and has also told me that their legal department will inform ABSA of the settlement.
I've contacted Transunion to amend this negative/adverse entry on my credit record who told me the service provider must contact them with the details, I've emailed ABSA to ask them to contact Transunion to have my credit profle amended and to reflect that this account has been fully paid - up until today - no response and my credit profile still looks horrible with little red entries next to this account saying it is in arrears - even though it has been serviced every month/on time since 2011.
It seems insitutions are quick to list you but not as quick to remove these listings when a consumer has honoured his/her commitment.
