Dismaying service or rather lack of

I've been with fnb for more than 15yrs & never have gotten such service. I paid off my personal loan 3/07/2013 & a debit order went off on the same day. Called customer service to request for a reversal of the debit order & instead was sent from pillar to post (at my expense) & was issued ref# Rc13070353252~1. I was told they would reverse it after 3 days. 12/07/13 I went to woodbridge branch & they were unable to reverse it, they called customer care & was lead to another dead end. I called in myself & demanded to speak to a team leader as the consultants all had different stories to tell, spoke to Dineo who said she with the relevant dept would sort it out. She kept me posted via phone & said Getrude from da loans dept was busy with the reversal but she would call me back around 14:00 for feedback & i'm STILL waiting. I emphasised to her that I had to use that money for registration at Unisa which was closing today. Summary of my dismay, fnb is unable to keep their promises, registration has closed & thanx to MY bank didn't register. Moral of my story, fnb is a great bank but are not able to assist with queries & they hire incompetent staff.
