Cant get new bank card

About a month ago, an ATM cancelled my bank card, i have no idea why, when i called the call centre to find out why my card was cancelled, i was told, it could be because of many reasons and i was advised to get a new card as they would not reactivate that one.
Yesterday i went to the Glen Shopping centre to apply for a new card, and i was told i could not apply for a card because there were no funds in my account. I find this to be rather silly. My salary has been coming into that account for years, they can always debit the amount when funds do appear in the account. Surely this is not difficult for FNB to do. I do not even want to start talking about the 100 amount for the card.
If this cannot be fixed, i am moving my account, the amount that goes into it is peanuts by bank standards of course as one of their employees was quick to point out to me but at least they wont have my business.
