Is there anyone out there (female) that has been or is going through the similar thing I am? My story starts from going onto the Prime Meridian website, which happens to be my car insurer. I saw that they offer hospital cover. Now you know that most medical aids for some idiotic reason do not cover woman who are pregnant. Some silly t and c - u have to wait for 12 months to be covered, which everyone knows by that time, you have already popped... Anyway I went onto the website and saw that their hospital cover covers maternity benefits. So I submitted to Prime Meridian to call me to query about this interesting cover. Last night (11th July 2013), I get a call from Prime Meridian. Well the gentleman sounded so friendly and really trying to sell the product until I told him I am 5 months pregnant. Um come again... he says Prime Meridian has a waiting period. No where on their website does it say that and if it did, I would have not even bothered. So his manager spoke to me which she apologised and she blamed it on the IT consultants who loaded it onto the website. Surely there should be some supervision for loading it onto the website? Totally disgusted by been brushed off like that!
