Last year I was approached by a company acting on behalf of Standard Bank (SB) called DMC Debt Management and they were instructed to collect the outstanding payments owed on my garage card with SB. As I wanted the matter to be resolved asap, I've opted to arrange for SB to have a monthly deductions from my account via debit order into DMC's account. In March/April I requested an updated statement from DMC as my monthly debit orders have gone off regularly, but still I don't see what I'm paying towards. Since I got no response from them I cancelled the debit order on 23 April 2013 at Standard Bank, Thibault Square, Cape Town. In May and June I noticed deductions for DMC from my account, after I requested that it should be cancelled for the amount of R430.00. On Saturday, 6th of July, R800 was transferred from my account. Yesterday I went to SB Somerset West to query this. The attitude and unwillingness to help me, left me the opinion of cancelling my SB account. Please pay back my R430. (2x) and confirm in writing that no further deductions will be made from my acc to DMC. Should this be the case, you will be in for bigger things than a Hello Peter. No phone calls. only emails
