Iemas Financial Services
Lack of transperancy in dealing with clients

IEMAS repossessed my car on the 3rd July 2013, sending Norman Celliers from their legal department came with documents dated the 12th June 2013 and reflecting arrears which were paid on the 21st June 2013, I was informed to pay arrears amounting to R 3381.57 inorder for me to have my car back. Because i was puzzled with the outdated document i was issued reflecting the arrears i had on my account. I called IEMAS and a consultant told me that i had arrears amounting to R700 and my previous arrears where paid up to date and she questioned the fact that my car was repossessed with my account being up to date. Based on the agreement which was made and it is also in writting between myself and Norman from their Legal department was that as soon as my arrears are paid up. He would bring back my car with no added charges. I had to make a payment of R2314.75 in order to make my account up to date and that was done on the 5th July 2013, instead of my car being brought back to me they started requesting other documents such as short-term insurance, prove of income and i issued them all. all of a sudden there are other charges i need to pay for amounting to R 3213.60 for Repossession charges?
