I did my credit check and notice that Standard bank has listed on my credit record for debt 29/06/2000 and was part of sequestration granted by court. I know very well that by law because I was sequestrated in 2001 a rehabilitation is granted after 10 years. Since then I never made any debt and is debt free. either way, this debt falls within prescription act parameters and has certainly prescribed. I want Standard Bank to remove this listing ASAP or I legal action will be taken.
