I've been an existing Standard Bank client for years by way of a credit card... recently they launched the Ucount Awards... so when trying to register for it I was told that only Mastercard clients are illegible - those of us who have a Bluebean Gold Card don't COUNT. Even although it is a Standard Bank product!!! Nice one! If ever there was motivation to pay off a credit card and close it... this would be it!
Never mind the fact that the Ucount Service Center told me it was because BlueBean have their own rewards programme... BlueBean know nothing of that! No apparently we're not good enough to COUNT!
Thanks so much Standard Bank for including all your clients in this new Ucount Awards programme... oh wait... you didn't!
