WHATEVER HAPPEND TO CONTACTING CUSTOMERS?

I pay my Wesbank installment via FBN online banking transfer, I got an email from collections yesterday in regards to my account and I was utterly SHOCKED that my account was in collections when I'd rescently made a payment and I always make sure to pay my installment. I went into my online banking and reviewed my accounta and picked up that I accidentally missed the June payment so when I made the transfer in July it was actually catching me up for June. But I still find it perposterous that Wesbank has sent me to collections WITHOUT any notification, not even a phone call or an email reminder that I missed my June payment. I find that unacceptable as the installment is normally R2, 400 odd and now the collections contact is demanding R2, 900!!! The bank needs to talk to consumers before taking actions that will be detrimental to our credit ratings I am utterly disppointed in Wesbank and REFUSE to deal with these collections people. Had Wesbank bothered to contact me this issue would have been easily sorted out and now they've gone and sent me to collections! I'm NOT accepting that and will NOT pay the collections fee!
