Money deducted of account and did not receive it

On Friday the 5th of July, I wnet to Standardbank Klipfontein in Witbank to withdraw money from my husbands account. asked for a balanace and received a balance. when I typed the amount I want to withdraw it kicked out my card and on the screen displayed - CASH WITHDRAWEL in PROGRESS. After 20min I asked the security what is going on and they said dont worry machine is going to switch of. I phoned the emergency nr and reported the machine. the money was deducted of my account and the operator said it will be returned to my account in 24 hours. My Husban and I went to the Saveways branch in Witbank were they assisted us and filled in the nececory forms. It is now 5 days later and still did not receive the money back in to our account. Yet when you in debt with the bank the take there money a.s.a.p. This morning at Standardbank Saveways at the ATM put the card in and asked for a balance statement to see if money was back in to our account. the ATM swallowed my card. So please I dont have anything nice to say about Standardbank and I want to know why I must wait for my money if the have to credit it back in to my account. They said within 24 Hours it is 5 days later and no money.
